I did this game to put the python skills i learned this spring to use.
pretty much you have ten guesses to guess the word. guess it right to win.
struggled a lot with switching out characters in a string. it takes a different thought process than the one i would use for java.
it is currently 3am and i stayed up finishing this. the style change quite a bit from the original design. however, the organization changed completely. i decided to keep the website as one whole page and to only focus on who i am and my projects. i added my music in there too, since i learned from my friend how to play around with spotify features on websites.
im very proud of this project and it def is a unique take on a website for me. now im going to go to sleep.
i tried implementing the blue background and honestly it was just blurry. i was listening to the new olivia rodrigo album “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” while playing around with the website in vs code. i think i like how its going. it kinda reminds me of the album’s aesthetic.
also my lapse kept recording black videos. sonion

The intended feeling is like cut out pictures and watercolors. I played around and designed this in Canva. I felt a rush of motivation to do this after being inspired to see a lot of people’s portfolio websites while reviewing for another ysws.
One thing I and my friends always notice when I make websites is that they all feel the same. It’s the same style or layout. That’s why I tried to branch out and tried something that leans more into aesthetic + pinterest style rather than professionalism.
