today i started level 2 of the minigames and almost finished it. i hit a very large wall of bugs and decided to stop for a bit before i break something. will come back later today or tomorrow, but i am hoping to finish this level and start on ideas for my 3rd one. i also made some better art for the lives icon.
today i finished level 1 of the minigame!!! i had some weird errors with the timer the took me a while to sort out and debug (ugh) but i got it done! im feeling pretty good about finishing the second level next week
today i finished the timer screen and started the first minigame level. i got the scripts for the player movement working and added the scrolling background. i also started on the webs that you have to collect. tomorrow i will finish the first minigame and enable flipping so the player movement looks more realistic.
today i made the screen that shows in between the levels and created the function that allows you to lose life and also times the levels. tomorrow i will make the first minigame level and finish the timer function
Started the game following the provided tutorial. Finished the start screen and programmed all 3 buttons, added placeholder graphics for the start, settings, and level scenes. Also worked on finding the best font for this project. Tomorrow i am hoping to finish the global script and settings page.
today i added two more commands to r2d2, and install the ability to use APIs. r2d2 can now list all the commands you can use, and it can tell you a random fact. tomorrows goal is to start adding some kind of Q&A or roleplay function.
I started my first slackbot and decided to code it as rd2d because clone wars is the best thing ever. Managed to get it up and running, and it can now tell you the ping latency. Got the profile and photo sent up as well.
