my slackbot is finally live!! r2d2 is up and running after a long time of fighting with nest. this was challenging as a newbie to nest and slack, but i did it! r2d2 has 3 functions, it can tell you the ping latency, show a help menu, and tell you a random fact!

today i added two more commands to r2d2, and install the ability to use APIs. r2d2 can now list all the commands you can use, and it can tell you a random fact. tomorrows goal is to start adding some kind of Q&A or roleplay function.

I started my first slackbot and decided to code it as rd2d because clone wars is the best thing ever. Managed to get it up and running, and it can now tell you the ping latency. Got the profile and photo sent up as well.
