Devlog 1: Lore (Half)
Changelog:
OKAY it worked the previous time, just tweaking the value a bit because i think it was too smalll
Uhh idk why the sizing isnt working, lets try again
ah the image in the lore markdown wasnt showing up i fixed it! (hopefully?)
The whole game is going to be a lore based survival game about space exploration and a specific planet. Yall do NOT need to know much about the story because thats why the game exists lol. The lore is half cooked at this point but im working :3. The actual game dev will begin after I complete the story!
Next Step(s):
- Complete Storyline
- Create a Script for Prologue, Chapter 1
Notes:
I dont really have much to say honestly– But fyi this is a group project being made by 4 YES 4 people! so its def gonna be huge! After i complete writing the story we will start developing the game!

(v0.0.2(A)-pre-alpha) Setup and Narrative!
Changelog:
Okay so added a one line plot and brain stormed and wrote a mini story which is the internal plot which should NOT be read as the player. This only serves to streamline the development. Anyways the plot may be subject to change.
Nothing crazy just setup Godot (first time btw!)
Next Step(s):
- Complete Storyline
- Create a Script for Chapter 1
- Start modelling
Notes:
To be absolutely honest with yall this is my first time making a game (by myself) and Im super excited! Cant wait to start modelling and making the game!

Devlog 2
### Changelog:
-
9f57c37: Okay! I finally made the bot say stuff natively from the website. this was not too bad. I was having a hard time seeding the db BUT guess what?!? Chatgpt and Copilot (i think thats the one in vscode) came in clutch. I figured out the seeding stuff and made it so that whenever a ship gets approved it sends a message to the channel (logs)
Next Step(s):
- Wait for the stardance team (@AVD and @Dhamari) to complete the dashboard
Notes:
Honestly this was easier than I thought BUT setting up the env was the most painful and difficult stuff ive ever done

Devlog 1
Changelog:
-
df2c982: First ever commit so nothing crazy. Most of my time went into setting up the dev instance of Stardance which was more difficult than i expected! The first codespace was nuked so i made another codespace in which it worked like a charm!! Anyways in this commit I’ve only initialized the slack bot client– Getting ready for real action!
Next Step(s):
- Figure out where and how to send messages from the app itself.
Notes:
I’m super excited for Stardance! this is my first ever devlog so idk if the formatting will be good or not- welp YOLO!
