I'm Almost done with the build of the bot, It is already running 24/7 on slack, try it by using the command /blackreaper-help
Almost done! - First Slack Bot. Today I made my nest account and got to put my bot (BlackReaper) to work 24/7, I had some problems along the way and had the help of AI to explain it to me, the biggest problem that I had was with the name Index.js hahahaha, I was trying to run it by writing “ node index.js” and it wasn’t working because I had to write “ node Index.js” with the big “i”, I spent 5 minutes just to notice this. I want to add at least 1 more command with API before finishing the project. I also added in the GitHub repository the “README.ms”. Thanks for reading!
(DevLog #01) First Slack Bot - Blackreaper
Until yesterday I didn’t know anything about a slack bot, but today I got to make one and put it to work! I named it Blackreaper, it main purpose its to respond commands in the channel #bot-spam on (Hack Club - Slack) , it has the commands /blackreaper-ping /blackreaper-help and /blackreaper-catfacts ( The last one use an API to get the facts!), I got some problems with VsCode Git and NodeJS but nothing seriously just some configurations, I want to add more commands that uses API’s in the future.
