Hello, it’s been a month since my last Devlog, I’ve been really busy and I didn’t really did a lot softwarewise, because the hardware funding got rejected 4 times because I’m a dumbass.😅 However I managed to resend the funding request (hoping that someone will accept it) and work on the code. For now I’ve only completed the STATS menu (by adding the General tab to the Fallout: New Vegas UI, and the Perks tab for Fallout 4’s UI✨) and I’m very near to completing the INV/ITEMS menu , for now I’ve:
the only thing left to do now is creating the fallout new vegas UI, after that I can work on the DATA menu and complete the software.
Also if you want to check out my code I finally put a working version for PC on my github repo. All the necessary info on how to start the code are in the README.
See y’all soon;
Hello Stardancers,
10 hours have flown by and I’ve almost completed the STATS Menu. Here’s what’s new:
Hello Stardancers!
These last days I’ve been working on the New Vegas/Fallout 3 UI of my project. For now this UI is still a WIP, here’s a quick rundown of what I have to do these next days:
Yes, it’s a lot of things to do, however these last few days I’ve been mainly working on finding the assets from Fallout New Vegas, after rummaging through the Fallout Fandom Wiki I found a good 98% of all the images from the game 🎉. I also completed the Condition(CND) menu, which took a lot of time, especially the creation of the vault-boy,for whom I had to crop different images in order to get all the 7 parts (head/face/torso/arms/legs) and all their variations (5 for the face and 2 for the other 6 parts)🫠🫠. Here’s some funny images of the failed vault-boy setup and an image of the completed CND tab, can you guess which is which?🤭
Hello Stardancers!
Today I have some good news and bad news:
Hello Stardancers!
Now that the 3D model is somewhat finished (I forgor to add the Usb and HDMI holes and some support structures for the hardware that I’ll add when I have the pieces) I finally went to the software part.
For now I just managed to compile the open-source code that I found online (after an hour of losing my mind🫠🫠) .
However today I’m posting so as to let you know my plans for this project:
See you soon,
