Devlog 3

It’s been almost a month since my last devlog so here it is.
All the parts are almost completed now! The top part for the buttons was the hardest part in this devlog and it required a 3d printed part.
Yeah that’s kinda all :D

Devlog 2

Decided to do a devlog because it’s already been quite a long time.
I decided to use my small CNC machine I have at home to make the main casing for the speakers. I’m gonna use a 3d printer to make the speaker grills. I added the RGB LED(2 pin, changes color without external controller) and also a passive bass radiator(from the old bluetooth speaker). Top, left and bottom parts are not yet made (top will have the buttons). I will use the existing button thing from the old speaker to press the buttons. The speakers I used are YD103-60 (4 ohm, freq. range 100-15000hz) and YDD103-04A(from an old pc speaker set). My dad also helped me with cutting the wood before and after CNC machining and also designed a holder for the passive bass radiator (not visible in the images). I made the other CNC and 3d files. Also I didn’t timelapse everything but that’s it for now.

I am making a portable Bluetooth speaker that will hopefully not sound bad. I am using a bluetooth amplifier board (GW542B_BP104B1_V1.0) that I got from an old bluetooth speaker. It has a battery, usb-c charging, aux port, usb port and it supports two speakers and led lightning. The led bar from the original speaker is too big so i’m not gonna use that. It was kinda hard figuring out where you actually put the speaker wires in the amplifier because there is so many connectors and most of them don’t even work. I’m gonna design and probably 3d print the shell for the speaker. Here I just got the speakers wired up. I will add the LED next devlog. I’m gonna try to fit the two speakers in the shell but designing it is in the next devlog. Here is a photo of my current setup and the amplifier board(with only the battery connected). Also i’m gonna fix the dent on the second speaker :D
