boot splash is in and shipping on the image. CONFIG.TXT decides, SPLASH.BAS plays on boot, keypress skips. the hook was “just two lines” and then reality happened: config.c wasnt in the makefile, the loader was static, and the first boot loaded the splash then sat at the prompt waiting for me to type RUN myself. three one-line fixes later: coil letters, banner, aurora, prompt. also fixed make pack details. the machine has a boot vibe now next up is proper scrollback, logging, and arrow key support.
