Out of Control!

hey yall! thank you so much for all the appreciation on the last post!:) Now, to get into the devlog; I had to start over because my files got corrupted ;-; Imean the scripts were rlly buggy too so, that took me a lot of time🤷‍♂️ plus the new one looks better anyways; Iguess starting over benefited. What did I do tday? Well, I fixed my sprite design(it had a really annoying thin white border around it which was really irritating to look at while gameplay. I fixed my movement and made GetAxisRaw into GetAxis, so the movement is more fluid instead of being snappy and “Raw” (see what idid there?👀). I made the jumps more natural instead of being all floaty. Added groundCheck (so spamming spacebar doesn’t send you off to space yk); and, made the platforms more pleasing to look at. phew, there’s alot more that’s otw so the next devlog will probably be quicker than the previous one, and because I’ve got my exams on the 29th, so ihave to finish this as soon as possible!! —–tl;dr: my files were corrupted and buggy so iremade everything, debugged it, cleaned it up, and made it look better. _______________________________________________________________________________ps: if you’re reading this and you read the entire thing: tysm! ireally appreciate you, as this is my first time ever posting something like this, and all of your support really pushes me forward to finish what I’ve started and make this project come to life!!

hi evb! This is my first ever devlog!! im making a game called “Out of Control!” It’s a 2D platfomer that looks similar to Geometry Dash, except the controls randomly switch after every level, as this was my first day working on it i made the bare bones of the game: movement, jumping, and respawning. (i also made the basic sprite for the player)
