I’ve tidied up my code a bit - adding comments and organizing it into logical sections. I still habe a lot of work ahead of me there, but once that’s done, I’ll ve albe to continue working effectively.

Hey there! I’ve expanded the game in a few small ways and focused ont the basic design - adding a few animations here and there. And acuteally (to my surprise) everything is finally working so far. So, here is a video at last!

I’ve made the game largely responsive now and as you can see I experimented a bit with the backgrounds. I’ve added two more types of obstacles to provide more variety, but unfortunately, I still don’t habe a fully functional level ready - so, once again, just a screenshot:

I intergrated the note recognition with the game logic and my first test run was succesful: the player jumps when the right note is played at the right time and crashes into the obstacle if not. I also experimented with a few simple designs and had the idea of making the game responsive - I messed that up a bit, but I#m fixing it. Unfortunately, the game logic isn’t working quite right again yet, so here is just a screenshot

I’ve been working on pitch detection and ran into a few issues, but my program can now identify which string is being played based on its frequency. Unfortunately, it insn’t precise yet, because some strings share the same frequency as other strings at certain frets. Nevertheless, you can see it in my console here!
