I added a simple export to png button that allows the user to save their art.
Added a cool background that is randomly generated by js and scrolls with css. I also added an invert button.
This is asciier, a simple image to ascii generator. Has a simple resolution slider and a button to import media.
I added a simple widget with my favourite things to complete the page.
I added a school year stat widget. Simple countdown with a progress bar and also made countdowns to the next break off school. GOD WHYS IT SO LONG
Finished working on the dashboard. Includes weather from Open Météo. And discord presence from lanyard. This is still a WIP as you can see from the coming soon tiles. GPT my savior for the discord implementation 🙏
I added a simple clock that hovers above the main body. It only displays Ottawa time. While making this i realized that Ottawa is spelt pretty weirdly.. Also i started working on a seperate page with a dashboard with like weather and stuff.
I had to make some changes to some of the apps inside my web os because i had overly used ai for the js coding on animations and other things. By doing this ive reduced my use of ai in my project by quite a bit.
I completed the rest of the games that i started working on in my last devlog aswell as a file explorer. I also made it so that the “Readme” open on boot.
I started by adding a credit system because in my previous versions there was no currency. I also added the icons of each new app. I started expanding the JS code for the games and file explorer aswell as the simple music player with a choice of three songs.
I finally completed the projects page i had mentionned in my first devlog. I started by making the main page container and adding the “Projects” title and back button. Then I made a grid for the project cards so they could sit in two rows. Each project has a title, description and an image to go along with it. I used css styling to add the rounded look to everything.
I added a custom cursor to the website using CSS and JavaScript. The normal mouse cursor is hidden and replaced with a small circle that follows the mouse.
The cursor gets bigger when hovering over links. When hovering over text, it changes into a small vertical line like a normal text selector. I used JavaScript to track the mouse position and CSS classes to change how the cursor looks depending on what the mouse is over.
I made this website using HTML and CSS.I started with a simple dark background and added a picture of Ottawa (Parliament Hill) in the background. I made the picture grayscale and faded it so it doesnt interfere with the page. I made a profile box using CSS with rounded corners and a border. I used flexbox to put my picture beside my information. This is still pretty simple, but i want to keep it that way, i like it. I also Started working on a page displaying projects with a similar styling.
Devlog 3: I added a very simple Welcome screen that links directly to the next page ( the actual web os). Inside the os i made all the windows draggable. I also made the windows better respect the theme with dark and green accents.
