A customizable dashboard extension replacing your new tab with daily tasks, weather, and other tools.
Hello everyone! As part of this project, I created a custom dashboard for the new tab to organize all the essentials and keep it free from clutter. It took me some time to get the Google OAuth authentication working with Manifest V3 and Chrome’s Identity API but finally got done what I wanted and started using my own customized new tab extension.
In future, I plan to implement such features as a dynamic weather widget, ability to customize the layout and background of the dashboard more. However, any ideas about useful features in the new tab extensions are very welcome! Please tell me if there are any!
