I built StockLab AI, an AI-powered financial education platform that helps high school students learn investing using real-time market data.

The project began as a stock research dashboard, but I expanded it into an educational tool after realizing that most finance websites are designed for experienced investors rather than beginners.

Major improvements include:

One thing I noticed while building StockLab AI is that having more data doesn’t necessarily mean students learn more.
Many finance websites overwhelm beginners with numbers, acronyms, and charts, but don’t explain what they actually mean.
So instead of adding more analytics, I focused on making the app easier to learn from.

Why I’m building this

When I started this project, I thought I was just building another stock research dashboard.
As I kept working on it, I realized something:
Most investing tools are built for investorsβ€”not for students.
So I decided to change the direction of the project.
