🚀 Devlog #1 – From Stock Dashboard to Classroom Tool
When I started this project, I thought I was just building another stock research dashboard.
As I kept working on it, I realized something:
Most investing tools are built for investors—not for students.
So I decided to change the direction of the project.
Over the past few days I’ve transformed it into StockLab AI, an interactive financial education platform that helps students learn investing using real market data.

Explains financial metrics like P/E Ratio, ROE, EPS, and Market Cap in plain English.

Students can immediately test what they’ve learned.

Built-in definitions for common investing terms.

Includes lesson ideas and classroom discussion prompts.

Real-time stock prices, financial statements, charts, and company metrics.

Why I’m Building This
My goal is to create something that teachers can actually use in a high school Emerging Financial Markets class.
I’m currently working with the hope of getting classroom feedback so I can continue improving the platform.
