๐ ๏ธ Devlog #2 โ Making Finance Easier to Learn
One thing I noticed while building StockLab AI is that having more data doesnโt necessarily mean students learn more.
Many finance websites overwhelm beginners with numbers, acronyms, and charts, but donโt explain what they actually mean.
So instead of adding more analytics, I focused on making the app easier to learn from.
โจ This update includes:
๐ Expanded Education Mode
Student-friendly explanations for important investing metrics.
๐ Investing Vocabulary
Built-in definitions for common finance terms like P/E Ratio, EPS, Market Cap, ROE, and Dividend.
๐ Interactive Quiz
Students can immediately check their understanding with multiple-choice questions and explanations.
๐ซ Classroom Activities
Discussion prompts and comparison exercises designed for teachers.
๐จโ๐ซ Teacher Notes
Learning objectives, lesson timing, and homework ideas to support classroom instruction.
Why Iโm building this
My goal is to create a platform that helps students understand why companies differโnot just display financial numbers.
Iโm hoping teachers can use this as an interactive tool to introduce investing and financial literacy in the classroom.

If you were teaching a high school investing class, what feature would make this app more useful?
