🛠️ Devlog #2 – Making Finance Easier to Learn
One thing I noticed while building StockLab AI is that having more data doesn’t necessarily mean students learn more.
Many finance websites overwhelm beginners with numbers, acronyms, and charts, but don’t explain what they actually mean.
So instead of adding more analytics, I focused on making the app easier to learn from.
✨ This update includes:
🎓 Expanded Education Mode

Student-friendly explanations for important investing metrics.

📚 Investing Vocabulary

Built-in definitions for common finance terms like P/E Ratio, EPS, Market Cap, ROE, and Dividend.

📝 Interactive Quiz

Students can immediately check their understanding with multiple-choice questions and explanations.

🏫 Classroom Activities

Discussion prompts and comparison exercises designed for teachers.

👨‍🏫 Teacher Notes

Learning objectives, lesson timing, and homework ideas to support classroom instruction.

Why I’m building this
My goal is to create a platform that helps students understand why companies differ—not just display financial numbers.
I’m hoping teachers can use this as an interactive tool to introduce investing and financial literacy in the classroom.
