finalized the designs for the flight computer and LoRa receiver, the final design is to have GPS in the flight computer and have all of the info transmitted rather than stored. the information will be received by a module that plugs into the USB port on my laptop so that it can by interpreted and displayed in real time. the information will include: altitude, barometric pressure, temperature, and a video feed will be saved to an onboard SD card.
finalized flight computer components, and found launch site candidates.
i did a lot and kind of forgot to devlog, so i finalized connection rings, made the nosecone design, and begun to work on the PCB for the flight computer
the first parts of the rocket have been finalized, printed, and assembled. The structure of the main body is now ready for testing.
Parachute bay and main body tube almost complete, this is an image of a 3D model for the parachute bay and main body tube, all that needs to be done on these is adding strength via interior support bars.
The final version of the Zenith V booster stage is complete. This is the version that will launch the rocket about 2000 ft before the sustainer stage activates and this stage falls back to the ground.
