@sak no, the rocket will rely on passive stabilization (fins), the flight computer is more for information collection (atmospheric pressure, temperature, altitude, ect.) and video
@sak i estimate it will travel around 1 km depending on the launch day conditions, and it will use a 34 cm parachute. I’m also exploring the idea of an autonomous recovery drone ship if i decided to launch over a lake, that is if i added GPS to the flight computer.
