Devlog 8| Today i wrote my README file and made the BOM for the keyboard which turned out to be quite expensive. I haven’t added any photos to the README yet so i won’t be sumbiting my project right now , but maybe tommorow i will do my first ship. I am better now , but i didn’t have motivation to work a lot today so i worked only on my github repo
Devlog 7 | Finished with the Firmware . I added the code for the Oled display , i made it so you can change pages with the FN key by running cycles across them , what i mean is

The 1st page diplays a nice gif of marin kitagawa
The 2nd page diplays the Time and date
The 3rd page diplays the weather in your City
I also added some comments for the user from github to be able to edit the code easier
Devlog 6| Today i wrote the firmware for the matrix of the keyboard , i made each press to output the column and row of the button that is pressed that later on is matched in a dictionary of inputs for the OS to handle . I also added a FN button that later on will be used to change the display of my oled screen which i haven’t programmed yet. I also change the microcontroller from the normal pico to the pico W so i can connect diffrent apis for the oled screen to display. I am still sick so i didn’t manage to work a lot but i am still satisfied as i did my research to find out how to code my oled display later on
Devlog 5 | I am still sick but i managed to do more work than yesterday , so i am happy about it . Today i made the .step files for the case of the keyboard , basicly the case is just there to protect the corners of the board as the main case is designed in Kicad and made with silicoon. My next goal is making the firmware and after that to start with my BOM and github repo. I hope i will get well soon and be able to put more work in
Devlog 4| TOday i got sick so i couldn’t get much work in , but i managed to get all the warnings (except one ) and errors clean . I also added copper layer to the top and bottom of the pcb connected to gnd , so the pcb works smoother and feel more profesianal, i was thinking of modeling a “case” for the keyboard , but only for the corners of the keyboard as i intead of keeping the silkscreen visible and the keyboard durable. I will probably write the code in python as i am more confindent in it then in qmk which i haven’t understood yet and i think that i need the physical keyboard to set it up.
Devlog 3| I finished with the pcb and i decided to make the case out of edge cuts , as i wanted to import footprint images on my case so it would feel more out of the anime . Anyway tommorow i will start on the firmware i will probably use qmk , but if i wont i will just write the firmware in python
Devlog 2| Today i didn’t work much as it’s my grandma’s birthday , but thanks to @Matze i was able to fix my schematic error special thanks to him!!! The GOAT. Anyway the problem was that i was connecting each column to row 6 and it was causing an error. Later today i will start with my pcb and probably finish it by tomorrow or the day after
Devlog 1| Hello Guys !!! Welcome to my new project where i will be making a custom keyboard inspired by the character Marin Kitagawa from My-Dress-up-darling (my favourite anime btw). Anyway what i did today was quite the most of the work … I MADE THE PCB … almost , what i mean is that i made the pcb , but there is an error and i don’t know how to fix it. Let me explain it to you , so basicly i have putted diffrent labels to each of my matrix’s column and row i named them col1 col2 ,… and row1 , row2 … , BUT in the pcb editor the switches ALL OF THEM say col1 and in the schematic when i connected them with Label i get this errors:
Devlog 2| Forgot to make a lapse anyway, today i got approved on nest so i uploaded my slack bot the problem was that for some reason the commands that the mission’s guide provided did not work for me so i ask chatgpt and it told me that i can just use this commands instead

Devlog 1| Today i started and finished with version 1 of my bot, i made the ReadMe and the only thing left is for me to host the bot , now i am waiting to get approved in Nest in order to host it there. I have added 2 commands that are not in the guide like one that displays the weather in your city and one that sends you a picture of an anime waifu
Devlog 4| Today i added 1 minigame , sfx and music which i found on internet. In this minigame you need to avoid falling anvils
Devlog 3 | Today i added 2 diffrent minigame. 1 a flappy bird minigame and 2 a connect the wires minigame.
Devlog 1| Today i started with the Hackpad i have done almost every basicthing needed i made the pcb the case and the firmware. It’s my first time building a pcb that i understand entirely who it works my previous pcb projects were to much ai carried meaning i didn’t really build anything myself. I am thinking of sumbiting this project and go on making a keyboard which was my first goal , i took this detour in order to not be overwhelmed by doing a keyboard without knowing the basics , now i feel like i can make a keyboard with almost no guidence and ai assistance
devlog 6 | Today i found the parts and made a BOM for them and uplaoded it to github. I also added the schematic a the pcb preview on it as well
Devlog 4 or 5 | So i searched and find out how to order a pcb . FIrst i though of getting my pcb from pcbway but it was way to expensive like 30 $ 5 pieces cause of the fees , so i switched to jclpcb and i think it’s less expensive atleast the site shows that it only costs 4 $ but i think it’s without the delivery fees but it’s still less expensive from pcbway as in pcbway the chips costed 5$ without the fees . I also change my pcb a little so it can be done. I am also thinking of soldering manually the pcb and i would like to know what i need in order to do so . I asked claude and it said that a soldering station and hot air with solder is enough .
devlog 4 | I made the pcb , but i couldn’t connect 3 pins so i decided to connected them with wires , as this first pcb will serve as the prototype and if it works i will try making adjustements so the board doesn’t need those wires . If you have any suggestions on how to wire this pcb better please comment , here is the present look of the pcb
Devlog 3 | I searched the internet to find a diffrent way of making a drone and i found that you can make your pcb so i started building one with the help of ai . First i made a pcb but realised it wouldn’t work as it needs a esc that costs more than my budget can handle as i trying to cut cost to nearly being only 25$. Anyway i had to restart the pcb design and i stopped after making the schematic. I would really love if there was a way of making the pcb wiring proccess faster as i find it annoying.
