Made a simple website and ironed out some bugs
Finished making the software and spent the last week soldering everything together, bit messy but everything works. I will try to make a case for it but I don’t have a 3d printer so it may be made out of cardboard.
Bought a new SD card reader IC as my DIYed solution did not work. It came two days ago, still didn’t work. After some headaches got it to work.
Parts finally arrived, been doing some testing of screen, buttons etc. Broke my sd card module but found a workaround by soldering pins to a MicroSD card to SD card adapter. Been working on file system and game/music selection.
Made a little screen saver and simple menu, parts have cleared customs so they should be arriving within a few days.
Wrote a little library to make writing code for games easier by making button inputs quicker to write and make drawing circles and rectangles easier. My parts have landed in my countries airport so I hope to have them soon.
Still waiting for components, Wokwi simulator is causing some headaches.
Connected a 0.96 OLED display. All virtual, still waiting for my components to arrive.
Learning esp32 basics through PlatformIO, VSCode and wokwi simulator as I wait for my parts to arrive. I spent most my time setting up the wokwi simulator and made a simple LED flash.
