This is my very own OS that can be run in the web! Kept it fairly simple yet effective. Also has a background toggler button, press it to switch the background!

Made my own webOS, named YesOS! Followed through the tutorial for getting to know the basics and setting up. Decided to add a feature where I could click a button to change the background image, which worked very well and was pretty effective, so I’m proud of that. Please don’t judge my css just yet, I’m kinda like experimenting and starting to try make my projects also look nice. Hopefully you like it!

Needed to add a new feature to my OS, so decided to have a background-swapper button. Put it in the bottom taskbar, as I thought that was the most appropriate place to put it, and gave it an icon. When you click on it, background loops between 4 images, thanks to javascript of course. Now it’s more customisable!

Kept following through the tutorials for the os, got through 4 and 5, creating my own icons on canva, which ended up looking pretty nice. Wanted my OS to look both simple, minimalistic, yet functional, which I think I achieved relatively, may work on the css and make everything look better during WebOS2. Javascript functions seemed pretty logical, like working through a list full of commands. This project was pretty fun, and I’m glad I got everything working

Saw my friend working on the webos mission, so I decided to join to! Names are always the hardest part, and I named this one YesOS. Really? Yes. Found the guide, followed it as best as I could, found it very easy to follow, and got up to finishing part 3. Had the timer, welcome with on/off button, just everything isn’t styled that great. But most of the raw code is there, and that’s good. I’ll call this progress a day for now.
