Hi everyone! This is my first post, and the project I’m working on is called the Space Habitat Monitor. This photo was generated by an AI as an example of what the final product will look like.
You could really call it anything, though, since the concept is quite simple. It’s an ESP32-based device that monitors metrics like temperature, humidity, pressure, and acceleration, and it also includes a built-in gyroscope. It has potential applications everywhere—for instance, on the ISS, where astronauts could use it to track vital environmental readings. If the readings drop below average levels, an LED indicator lights up. I tailored the system specifically for spacecraft, basing the specifications on NASA data, but anyone can download the source code from GitHub and customize the settings. And if you have a 3D printer, you can print a case for this device and place it inside for greater convenience and safety. Thanks for reading!
