This is a web-based operating system that basically has a bunch of ideas that popped into my head just thrown together.
guhOS devlog 3
This took me a while.
Here is what I got done:
- Added the notes app
- Added some animations
- Fixed the window being able to go under the topbar
- Simplified initialization of new windows
- The notes apps are no longer taking over
- Successfully made even more cursed class tags
- Added a subtle shadow underneath the windows
- Fixed where you could scroll when moving windows out of bounds
There is more that I did but I honestly forgot at this point.
I am planning on adding the ability to edit and create your own notes and have them save to your browser storage. Hopefully it wont take another 3 hours….
The updated version has been deployed to the vercel app and is ready for use.

I got the desktop apps working.
Notes have decided to take over.
Anyways, that’s pretty much it for this version, it’s been released to the vercel app.
I am open to feedback.
Just finished getting the base of the project done.
The main thing I am doing different from the guide right now is the fact that I’m using tailwind CSS (in the worst way) and vite.
I am hoping to get started on the other apps soon.
