(spent a really long time on getting the animations and startup screen right)

App minimising
App fullscreen
Camera App
Calculator App
Web Browser
Settings App (customisable background)
Multi-window support
Force quitting apps
Bringing all app windows to front (by clicking the icon in the dock)
Custom context menu
Draggable and resizable windows (resize from the bottom right corner)

Devlog #5

I have decided to only add some of the initially planned apps to WebOS 1, and add the remaining in WebOS 2. Nonetheless, some amazing apps have been implemented (including a browser, settings app, calculator, and a camera!).

Devlog #4

Finally got window dragging working smoothly (which broke cus I added a transition and then forgot about it <- debugging nightmare)
All added features:

  • smooth window dragging
  • window closing, minimising, fullscreen
  • multiple windows of the same app
  • app state management
