Ended up adding a weather api (temperature & relative humidity) with the javascript geolocation api
also added a news rss feed :)
finally done adding custom search engines and bookmarks + backgrounds are randomised
Finally like the ui now after some trial and error, just need to make it functional now.
Changing/adding search engines/bookmarks will definitely be implemented, will consider other customisation options
