A space-themed 3D-printable chess board. I started with the base for the chess board, which is just a square block with an 8x8 grid on it. I learned how to make 3D pieces by first drawing the outline and then revolving the figure. Took me way longer than it shouldβve, but I learned a lot! :)
Next step: Figure out how to model an astronaut helmet for the pawn. Iβm still a beginner, so advice is appreciated!
Also, Iβm thinking of making the board look like the space-time fabric (white grid all around), but Iβm not sure how to do it/if I should yet. Other design ideas are welcome.
