I made an website that uses an free Nasa API key to view nasas space picture of the day and the description, and i also added features like: an google search bar, custom purple style css, an quicklinks feature where you can delete quicklinks and add your own(they save into localstorage) the site shows the current date and time.This project was very challenging for me because i kept running into errors and bugs and then the API key wouldnt work but i managed to fix everything so now there is no errors!
YESSSSS!!! i FINALLY got this to work! OOHH THIS WAS SO HARD TO DO! I ran into more bugs and errors than i can count but it was actually really easy now that im thinking about it, the Hugo space tab now has 4 default quick links, an google searchbar, ofcourse the nasa space picture of the day and the description, an purple theme, hover effects!, you can custom add quicklinks and they save to localstorage and todays date!
So i got the API to work (took me long enough) and got github to work too! I ran into some errors where everything i displayed was “unidentifyed” But it was just me who put the api wrong. So now i added an little bit of styling and i also added an search bar and an really small google search. I will make this project better in a bit.(the activate windows watermark shows a bit ik, sorry)
