I made a newspaper-themed personal website, with lots of info and lots of Tails.
This is my first time ever making an actual website. I initially planned for it to be way simpler, but the idea of a newspaper as a website was irresistible and I had to pursue it. The most challenging part by far was figuring out how to format divs that would accommodate the hybrid spacing and style of traditional newspapers. I had to tinker a lot with flexboxes. On top of that, I also had to labour on making the website as responsive as possible on all screen sizes, which I achieved with clever decisions on the divs (definitely not just “width: 100%” on everything).
I’m so glad with how everything turned out and I hope you guys will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it (sometimes, when it wasn’t bugging out)! Please give me feedback on stuff I should improve or add, as I will be updating this frequently even after it ships!

made the last commit to my personal website today! my newspaper-themed, Tails-infused corner of the internet is now complete! i had so much fun designing and making this and i’m gonna add even more features once it ships (which is very soon, btw). feel free to drop any feedback! yayayayay

day 3 of making my personal website. i completely overhauled the design to match this newspaper aesthetic and i really love how it looks!! getting the columns right was def the most difficult part, but now that i got it down, i only need to add a couple of sections and i’ll be done! yay!

spent over 2 hours overhauling the design of my website, and 45 minutes making the header :PPP i like how this is turning out though! (left is progress so far, right is design)
