A game full of short minigames themed on engineering related crises! (Make a WarioWare-Style Game Mission)
A game full of short minigames themed on engineering related crises! (Make a WarioWare-Style Game Mission)
Added a new minigame
here you must accurately sort the objects to train the always watching AI. But you cannot get it wrong
I thought making something somewhat smooth with curves would be a little hard, but its really easy to slap on a lerp and everything works decently
Small things that add a lot
The game doesn’t end! Once all the minigames are completed, you can continue but the time gets faster over time (up to a certain point so its not completely impossible).
I haven’t gotten past 12, so I haven’t quite seen the max speed for long, so maybe it is not humanely possible at that max
I also procedurally made sounds so the game feels just a little more lively
Wow I remembered this project exists!
worked on actually making lives, and added a new minigame to connect pcb traces

really fun game!!
unfortunately, we are unable to accept your project at this time because the banner is still not a picture of your shipped project which is what it needs to be. please make sure it is a full screenshot of your game and not of a logo!! you can take any picture in your readme and that would be valid.

great game!! i don't think that i'm the best at it but it was still pretty fun! while i would love to approve it, the banner needs to be a picture of the project itself, not a logo. please dm me @dodge1 or create a ticket in Slack (#ask-the-shipwrights) if you have any questions.

Hey antellij,
Thanks for shipping Eng-inuity! Sending this back for a couple of changes:
During the wire level of the game, my browser crashes and I cannot continue with the rest of the levels. Please check the video for more.
For any other questions, DM @alexander or create a ticket in Slack—#ask-the-shipwrights.

Added some more things to the readme to prep it for launch

Yooo! This project is genuinely sooo cool, i really liked it, but your readme requirements do not match, please add more details to it such as the features etc. Thanks

I added tips just before the start of the game to make it more clear what the objective of that particular level is. To make use of the assets I made a third minigame.
I also added a system to basically cache all the particles at the start, since it takes a good second for it to load on the first run, especially on web.
I think I’ll properly implement the lives system once more games are added.

Hey! Thanks for participating in Stardance! However, for the first minigame, I didn't understand what to do at all. Please add some more information about how to play each minigame and it should be good to go!
For any questions, please create a ticket in Slack—#ask-the-shipwrights.

Cleaned up some of the minigames and made a fitting Readme for the github before shipping
I have no clue what I was talking about saying I was working on foundations, because I look around and all I see is garbage.
Its been a while since I’ve worked on this, but I am really baffled by what I was trying to do in the code. At least I have art for placeholder stuff, and got to actually work on the ‘game loop’. Sometimes I am genuinely concerned with what I am even attempting to make, but maybe when it all comes together the absurd plot will at least be at home with the rest of the absurdity in the game.
I’ve just started work on my entry for the warioware mission since I’ve used godot before and have always enjoyed quickfire arcade-like games. With stardance being a platform of creating technological projects, I had the ingenious idea to theme the minigames on engineering life and challenges, spawning the idea of enginuity (see what I did there)
From getting wisdom from a rubber duck, to not getting electrocuted, (among more minigames I have planned) I hope that the game may be interesting of course fun
I spent a lot of time trying to get the shaders to look how I wanted, and I still think there is some changes that would have to be made in the future
I started some of the logic for inputs and a foundation for the theming. I also put in some temporary art
Anyways, thanks for reading this, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
