I built this portfolio website to showcase my projects and improve my front-end skills. I started with an onboarding tutorial, then gradually replaced and expanded it with my own design, animations, responsive layout, and JavaScript features. CSS was the hardest part, but after a lot of experimenting and debugging I ended up with a website I'm proud to call my own.

My Website
I built a personal portfolio website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It includes an introduction about me, a projects section, my skills, certificates, contact information, and a responsive design that works on both desktop and mobile devices. I also added smooth scrolling, animations, a mobile navigation menu, and contact form validation to make the site feel more interactive.
The most challenging part was CSS. I spent a lot of time adjusting the layout, spacing, colors, and responsiveness so the website looked good on different screen sizes. I also had to debug JavaScript issues with the mobile menu and animations until everything worked correctly.
I’m proud that I built a clean, responsive portfolio that showcases my projects and skills. I’m also proud that I solved many problems on my own while learning new HTML, CSS, and JavaScript techniques. Seeing everything come together into a polished website was very rewarding.
The project is hosted on GitHub Pages, so it doesn’t require any installation. Simply open the website in a modern browser, navigate through the different sections, test the responsive navigation menu, click the project links, and try the contact form. The best experience is on an up-to-date desktop or mobile browser.

I started by planning the website structure and creating the main pages. My goal was to build a clean, responsive website while improving my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
The hardest part was CSS. I rewrote sections several times because the spacing, colors, and layout didn’t look right. Through trial and error, I learned how to organize my styles better, improve the design, and make the website responsive across different screen sizes.
I added JavaScript features such as smooth scrolling, a mobile navigation menu, card animations, and contact form validation. Along the way, I fixed bugs with the menu, scrolling, and animations, which helped me better understand how everything worked together.
Whenever I got stuck, I used DeepSeek to help me understand problems and find solutions. I read the explanations, learned from them, and applied the ideas to my own code.
By the end of the project, I had built a polished, responsive website and gained much more confidence in working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I still have more features I want to add, but I’m happy with how much I learned during the project.
