Today I Changed All My Site CSS

What I Did Today

Today I rewrote almost all CSS for my website. I also deleted one symbol in HTML and changed the favicon. No JavaScript changes.

What Was Changed

Colors

Before: Purple colors
Now: Green and amber terminal colors
It match better with my Linux and terminal projects

Typography

Before: Inter font from Google
Now: Monospace font
It gives more terminal feeling

Layout & Design

Removed all rounded corners, now everything is sharp
Removed shadows and gradients
Changed cards to simple border style
Removed most animations, only hover effects left
Added CSS variables, now colors are easier to change

Spacing

Before every section had almost same padding (50-60px)
Now each section have different spacing like 40px, 60px and more

Visual Style

More terminal prompt style
Sharp 1px borders everywhere
Looks less like template
More focused on developer style

Why I Changed It

I wanted my website look more real and more like something I coded myself. Before it looked too much like many portfolio templates. Now terminal style fits better with my projects about Linux, servers and command line.

Result

I think now the website looks much more personal. It doesn’t feel like I just copied a template. It feels more like my own work and my own style.
