i am messing around with transistors oh yeah

ok so i started working on the GEPU which is basically just almost all the components of an x86 emulator but just in 1 more usable chip. started simulating it but spent a while trying to find a good program to use but tinkercad is good.

i have a bit more information on this project here

anyway im just doing keyboard emulation with the microcontroller, i’ll implement some USB stuff maybe later

HELLO AGAIN EVERY ONE
you are so happy i know you all missed me so much

so i am starting work on my own custom architecture, like x86 but x00. There are quite a few features that are different from other computers but i’m hoping to make it so easy to build a computer that if you know how to use the architecture you can build a computer easily.

of course this is a huge project and I will probably keep going on this until i can build one x00 computer that runs custom hardware, software and custom OS for x00.

this also means that because i’m building it myself it’s gonna be hella easy to build your own OS for it and it might use something like python if i feel so inclined but it’ll be super cool

Anyway i’ll attach my notes and the canva whiteboard that i have so far after 50 minutes of planning but i hope everyone has a good day!!

(also YEAH it only uses one chip for most of the computer, im a simpleton, alright? also i will make it easy to replace but yeah)
