Imagine google translate... but in space

Ship #1 Changes requested

I made a translate page, it wasn’t too difficult, but It’s the first actual project I’ve finished at hackclub. (I have lost 30 something hours on some fallout ideas that were a little ambitious).
I think the hardest part is documentation, efficient documentation. If I had to stop and search the internet for every piece of syntax I didn’t know (js can be really demeaning), It would have taken me a lot longer. I used opencode, kinda like claude code (holy larp) to make the process go faster. It was still my idea and my handwritten code that went to deployment.
Oh yeah and the most most most painful thing to understand was the deployment process itself, and the self hosting using node.js. The entire concept of a runtime and vite as a dev tool was completely new to me.

SECOND FIRST FINAL DEMO.
I just need to pretty it up a little and write the README page, everything else is done. (had some really annoying issues with the .env email secret)

I have dived quite deep into the translating world… and it’s just sad. (really colorless and bland.) Anywhom, I’ve learned how to make really long dropdowns using js and how to update the translated text while the user is typing, WITHOUT blowing up my free api. I’ll finish and publish it tomorrow tho because I’m sleepy eepy.
