DEVELOG #5 - FINAL DEVELOG🍾🍾
WARIO LOVES TARALLI! ❤️ 🔴⚪🟢
Yes, Wario Loves Taralli is now released on itch.io. Instead only showing the win and lose screen in this develog, I wanted to take some more time to finish the project and upload it on itch.io

This is the Settings screen, where it’s clear that Wario only wants taralli in his life 🤣🤣

Aside from that, I’ve spent a lot of time fixing game bugs, especially within the minigames—working on the win/lose logic and conditions. I also cleaned up the code to eliminate repetitions and bad connections.

The new win and lose screens are coming very soon, and along with them, two brand-new minigames I already have in mind!

Stay tuned for updates!

I added the second minigame where you have to click on Neapolitan taralli to complete it, with a stunning view of Vesuvius and the sea.

I also fixed the timer in the first minigame, so now I’m moving on to producing the win and lose screens.
Stay tuned for updates!

I’m currently working on the first minigame, and as you can see Wario seems eager to catch taralli all around Italy - here in Sicily, Catania.

I’m struggling a bit with the timer and minigame scenes, so I’m working a lot on the code to understand what’s causing the issue. Of course, in the next devlog, I’ll show you the minigame fixed and completed.

Stay tuned for updates!

Yes, you read that right. In this WarioWare-style game, Wario is obsessed with taralli, and what you see in the photo is what the in-game screen will look like.

I came up with this idea because, to us Italian fans, Wario might remind us a bit of the stereotype of the average Southern Italian, and the tarallo is something that unites all Southerners (there are Neapolitan, Sicilian, and Apulian taralli…).

Stay tuned for upcoming updates!
