I coded a basic keyboard layout using VS Code and languages JavaScript, CSS, & HTML. It took me about 30 to 45 minutes I'd say including refreshing the browser and cleaning up errors from the console tab. This was my first beginner software project and coding project; I hope to add more and will probably add colors to the keys + other designs!

As my first coding project, I created a simple keyboard layout, coding the organization of keys on a keyboard. Something challenging for me, was connecting my html script to my javascript, as the first few runs of my code did not output correctly. However, I'm proud of the final result, as I was able to customize the keyboard to my liking afterwards and in the end, learn how to really code.

I experimented a little with coding in VS Code and decided to make a basic model of keys on a keyboard layout to start. I used JavaScript, CSS, & HTML for this, and the keys do change color when hovered over with the cursor. After drafting the basic layout, I added some color. I hope to build on this idea more in the future and possibly a hardware project of building an actual keyboard!
