Devlog #6 - I printed bottom of the case, it has a few flaws but I’m probably not going to print new one because it takes over 300g of filament so I’m gonna just improvise.

Devlog #4 - I think I finally finished bottom part of the case, also I started working on the keyboard part.

Devlog #3 - I started working on bottom part of the case, I printed only “small” parts of it to save filament. I need to add only few small things and I can move on to upper part and screen. Also I added wifi card slot.

Devlog #2 - Today I designed custom cooling mounting bracket, so I can attach an old GPU cooler to an AM4 motherboard. I printed it in ABS so it can withstand higher temps and finally got the whole thing running cinebench under 75 degrees with the only fan being pretty far away.

Devlog #1 – A few years ago, I decided to build a laptop-desktop hybrid (desktop components in a laptop form). I managed to make it work, but at the time my only 3D printer was an Ender 3 V2 with a bent Y-axis rod, so I built the case out of wood instead. The project had a lot of issues: it was huge, screws were sticking out everywhere, it looked pretty bad, and it ran really hot. Because of that, I decided to remake it with a 3D-printed case so I could learn CAD in the process.
