This is my very own OS that can be run in the web!
shipped rockos rockos is officially completed and shipped! i’ve finalized all the core features: built a custom 2D physics engine for pebble dragging, throwing velocity inertia, and elastic boundary collisions; wrote a low-frequency pink noise ocean waves sound synthesizer using the native Web Audio API for background nature sounds; connected a live Wikipedia query search API inside the simulated browser panel; styled all rocks with organic terracotta, sandstone, and slate gray colors matching the forest background; and added scaling multipliers and wallpaper changers in the Settings window. this project turned out so clean and calming to use. it’s fully ready to deploy!
Starting rockos i’ve had an idea for a new OS and now i’m going to start building it and announcing it as the name for the RockOS. it’s gonna be a super calm, minimalist workspace focusing on rock balancing and clean layouts. i’m excited to start coding this and will log my progress here.
v0.1: starting my webOS project, just a basic web page, more coming soon!!!
