NEW APPS!!

That’s right, new apps (plural noun: short for applications)

settings app:

• change the wallpaper
  7 solid colours and 3 static images
• change the brightness
  had to go to desmos and learn the form of an exponential line for this

music player:

• 7 cool songs
• functioning controls
• interactive progress bar
• cool covers
• inspired by MewoOs
• more songs (and playlists??) coming soon?

other updates:

• the terminal scrolls now instead of infinitely expanding
• demo link being added soon

next:

• prob more songs to music player
• maybe more settings
• make the latest window appear on top

Terminal app:

• currently 6 unique commands (help, about, time, clear, refresh, quit)

• took a while to code
• inspired by OmarOS

Window Updates

I fixed up the header bar of the home window so now it has a close button and only the window name. The ‘CamOS’ text and time have been moved to the newly made taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Using the buttons in the taskbar, the windows will be able to open and close. The windows are also draggable now.

Defining the window

I’ve now defined my home page window by adding the desktop background, window outline, and window top bar.

More Content and Styling

I added more content to my introduction, and formatted the page with some colours and a header.

Basic Content

I followed the guide for the custom WebOS and added some basic content to my home page, including my logo, a description of the project, and my socials. The content is still a WIP.
