A macropad that connects to you computer to control media. Buttons and rotary encoders are used to control the media, and you can see what is playing with the built-in OLED display.
This project was relatively simple as i wanted to try out some things that i have never done before: creating PCBs. This was a very cool skill to learn and i can see it being very useful in future projects.
I haven't currently got the components to create it myself, but please have a look through and see what you think. Any feedback would be wonderful!
FYI: This project is based off the hackpad guide.

Just finished making the code for the actual MusicPad! As code is not my forte, i have to acquire some assistance from AI. But my hackpad will now control a computers media. Next i will have to make the code so the computer can read the hackpad.

Case Finished!

I have created a quite simple base to hold the macropad in, with a hole cut out for the usb port. I also created a PCB mockup based on the dimensions from KiCad.
The lid was the hardest part, as i had to find all of the measurements. But it’s done now.

Next, I’ll be working on the firmware.
