Hey,

Your BOM is still not complete, you need to include links to where you're buying the parts in the bom, not a list of amazon links in the readme. Amazon is also not the best supplier, you can find much cheaper options. You also still have FPV goggles there, which another reviewer flagged to remove.

This project simply doesn't meet the complexity required for an X-tier project, in order to recieve this much funding, you'd have to design all the electronics yourself. At the very most I'd consider this an S-tier project, but that's assuming you do a lot more work on this. I encourage you to read this https://hwdocs.hackclub.dev/other/polish-matching/.

We unfortunately can't take .blend files for your CAD. We need a .step file of your entire assembly, including components, so we can see how everything fits together. This is also important for making sure others can work off your design.

Hello!

It still seems like you are missing the firmware, along with the schematic (and the PCB files) if you have one.

Your BOM seems to not have changed since the last time that you submitted it! I highly recommend that you tick every box on this checklist to create a good ReadMe: https://highway.hackclub.com/advanced/submitting

$500 X Tier

cool project! however we cant fund the goggles, camera, amd transceiver. you also need to add some more to your README, I recommend ticking through each individual box in this checklist before resubmitting! https://highway.hackclub.com/advanced/submitting

thanks!

Hello!

This is such an amazing project that you have made! However, you need to make a few changes:

- You are missing the firmware for your project. Please make sure that you add the firmware that you have made yourself into the project folder, along with a schematic showing all the electrical connections.

- Your BOM is very incomplete - You need to use #printing-legion in the Hack Club slack to print it, and you also need to include the other parts that you need in the BOM that will total to the $500 you have asked for.

Once these changes are made, someone will have a look and review again! :D

So the people I contacted about the CNC service said it would be too expensive, so I’m going to 3D print it out of Polycarbonate (the stuff bulletproof glass is made out of)

I arranged the pieces, and I also added 2 extra arms, because of one breaks in a crash, I don’t want to have to get it remade. I also contacted a local CNC service, and they said they get back to me later today for an estimate.

I finished my landing pads, and I tried to slice them on Bambu Studio, but I couldn’t turn off AMS, and I couldn’t select the TPU option because of that. Ill figure that out later.

Finished the frame, and I created all the plates. I also added all the screw holes. I had to move the flight stack to the back though, and I might need more wire for the motors to connect to it. I actually had 2hrs and 15min that wasn’t able to get logged. For the first bit, after I finished and was ready to save the timelapse, I got an error saying that if failed. this was when I created the bottom plate and added screw holes. then, I spent more time the next day creating the plates, ad adding holes for that. This time, I accidentally closed the tab, and I couldn’t submit my timelapse. I have a screenshot of that timelapse, but I can’t submit it anymore. so, my time spent on this project is the shown time + 2hr 15min

I added all the screw holes and made the arms! YAY! But… I had to change out my motors for slightly more expensive ones that are a little less sketchy, and didn’t have the screw holes in random places without even saying what screws they used. And, the motors are hot pink, so thats gonna be my color theme! Im going to black everything out, and then have the motors and the landing pads (will make later, as they can be 3D printed out of TPU) hot pink.

I figured out what I wanted to make, and I started it. I watched a video about building a drone, and i found all my parts. I also started on making my drone chassis in blender. I started making one of the arms today. I made them so they would perfectly converge in the middle in a square shape, so that the plates would be able to connect to them easily and firmly. Now, I just need to add the screw holes to finish the arms
