GROUND SENSOR / SHOCK ABSORBER!
So, started CAD designing the shock absorber / ground sensor build more then half of it, will complete it after measuring few things which I forgot to measure earlier.

Finally, the ground/shock absorber sensor design is completed now will start making all the CAD and will check if anything’s left.

The ground sensor and shock absorber sensor design is almost done just have to find right length and thickness of shock absorber.

Tibia design fixed again and designing ground sensor and shock absorber!
Okay so I fixed the tibia design as the last one was too curved and also, I will be adding a shock absorber so that the gears won’t break! Till now 20% of the shock absorber’s design is made.
High torque design done!
So was finally able to figure out the designs and made the height torque design, so in this High torque design the femur and tibia are as short as possible so that it gets maximum torque. Now will start CAD and will also make the less torque/long leg design.
COXA AND FEMUR DESIGN READY!
The fixed design of coxa and femur is ready and now will make tibia and then will start CAD!
Redesigned the part!
Finally redesigned the femur horn to tibia servo part including the servo bottom cover chassis and will have to redesign the femur to coxa part too, and I made this simple mechanism too as I wanted to test something.
Ohhh nooo made a mistake!! Hexapod 2.0!
So, I forgot to measure the bottom wall thickness which will be covering servo and will be having ball bearings and now I will have to redesign the (Femur servo to Coxa horn) part and the new part I was making which will connect Femur horn to Tibia servo. And I deleted all the previous cad files for Hexapod 2.0 as they were all without that bottom wall measurement.
DESIGNING FEMUR HORN TO TIBIA MOTOR PART FOR HEXAPOD 2.O! So, I’m trying to figure out things like how I would connect the motors to each other as due to angle and other things the lengths changes and I’m thinking of making a different type of tibia or maybe a modular tibia. but for now, I will try to complete the femur to tibia motor chassis.
NEW FEMUR MOTOR CHASSIS DESIGN FOR HEXAPOD/SPIDER ROBOT 2.0!
Okay so, I did modifications in the femur motor chassis design as I forgot to make holes for servo mounting screws so had to change both upper parts chassis designs. Maybe I’ll change the lower chassis design later if I can find a better alternative for the ball bearings.

FINAL PART of femur motor chassis! This is the final part which we need for the femur motor chassis, now after this tibia and coxa.
Femur servo chassis first upper part!
This part will hold the horn of the coxa servo and will attach it to the previous part which holds femur motor by using M3 screws.

HEXAPOD/SPIDER ROBOT FEMUR MOTOR PART! Made the lower piece of the femur motor chassis, each leg part is in 2-3 pieces. this one holds the motor and ball bearing hold bracket for coxa motor piece and a socket to fit ball bearing for tibia motor piece.
LEG FOR BIG HEXAPOD/SPIDER ROBOT!
So, I made parts for coxa servo and femur servo, the upper one will attach coxa servo to body, and the lower one will attach femur servo to coxa servo horn. and this time I will be using ID=8mm, OD=22mm, W=7 mm ball bearings.
HEXAPOD/SPIDER ROBOT 2.0!
So, this will be the larger version of the hexapod/spider robot, in this version I will be using mg996r motors instead of mg90s motors. I noted all dimensions of the servo and the circular horn and now will start making the leg designs.
