Hello everyone! I'm creating my own New York-themed macropad!

Ship #1 Pending review

I built the Specter V1! It is a custom 9-key macropad featuring a rotary encoder and an OLED display, powered by a Seeed Studio XIAO RP2040. I designed the 2-layer PCB from scratch in KiCad and modeled the custom two-part case enclosure using Onshape. I think the biggest hurdle with my project was just the fact that I'm new to PCB building so I was making a lot of little errors in the schematic that I was able to fix at the end. I'm most proud of my design, especially having the NY Knicks logo and representing the city I'm from.

Wrapped up the final production files to officially submit the project. I fixed the C code to successfully compile the QMK firmware, generated the KiCad gerbers and drill files for the PCB, and converted the CAD assembly to a .3mf to bypass file limits. Finished the session by structuring the GitHub repository, formatting the README with the BOM and screenshots, and dropping the final post in the ships channel.

Hey everyone! I finished adding parts to my imported board on Onshape and then started working on the casing.
