Code has been updated to use the Gemini Live model specifically designed for back-and-forth voice interaction. This allows for smoother responses and more consistent output. Code & docs are at: https://github.com/smitamw/esp32s3-assistant
I replaced the old system of 2 models with a new system where the desktop assistant only uses a single Gemini Live model. This results in faster response times and higher API call limits. You can find it at https://github.com/smitamw/esp32s3-assistant. (The image is unrelated.)
I optimized the solar system a bit, so you can now explore. It is still very unstable though, so after a while it starts to degrade. I made a short video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdCKXNEn69A
I have to post an image so here is an image.
Added Minesweeper and removed the grid and colored cubes. Try it out here: https://project-kanon.vercel.app/
Made the basic 3D pseudo-OS with rotatable draggable double sided windows. Even added a Youtube player!
Completely revamped UI and control scheme, pinch to zoom, animated rocket flames, and even a ship customization menu with three different spacecraft!
Added the full(ish) solar system! All 8 planets with most of the major moons. Some UI changes as well with a new timewarp functionality. There are still some issues with gravitational perturbations pulling some of the bodies out of their orbits, but those can be fixed. For now, enjoy this screenshot.
I just added camera modes to my 2d space game for Android, “Orbital Velocity”. You can toggle between “ship” mode which centers the camera on your spacecraft, and “body” mode which centers the camera on the celestial body exerting the most gravitational influence on you. Try it out! https://github.com/smitamw/OrbitalVelocity
This is the initial ESP32-S3 assistant project that I created before I joined Stardance. It consists of an ESP32S3 board, an extension board, a momentary pushbutton, MAX98357A amplifier, INMP441 microphone and a small speaker for output.
