Dissasemble the cat printer :/

to start i took apart my cat printer and found that a lot of the casing is empty space, its just a few parts!
so then i modelled the basic shapes of each part including the important points like where wires need to access ports. In cad i rearranged the main parts working out how my camera should fit together

After making one leg and running a motion study to verify the joints constrict it to the right path, i can now copy the legs, mirror them and build a frame to hold them together. You can see the strandbeest emerging!
