I made a simple, basic website called EcoIndia to raise awareness on environmental costs and concerns in India. Things that I faced that were particularly challenging was trying to figure out if I was suppose to write something in HTML or CSS, in terms of styling (using CSS document or in-line styling in html). I’m proud of being able to efficiently code this in less time because that shows an increase in my speed in ability to do this. To test my project, all you need to do is to click on the button to Try my project and it should show the website.

I made a website that is the Super Fun but Weird Website that provides a lot of activities in viewing what Gen Z say these days. I definitely think that the CSS portion was hard for this, and so I did get some help from AI to make it more appealing. I am proud of being about to use the gradients, which I learned from another Hack Club event, in this project. To try my project, just click "Try project" to bring up the website!

I finished designing the layout of my website. I also changed up the colors a bit to be more appealing. For the About Us, Environmental Issues, and Steps to Take Today, I added content relating to the mission, issues India is currently facing, and steps that people there can take to combat those issues.

I made Cybra the Cyber Slack Bot. The main purpose of this slack bot is to teach average Slack users about important cybersecurity practices and skills, and can even help someone build their skillset in cybersecurity if they want a career in it in the future. Things that were challenging was making it work 24/7 and I'm certainly proud of being able to finally make some sort of bot and being able to code it! To test my project, the channel is a public channel in the Hack Club workspace! It is best if you try the command "/cybra-help" first in order to see all the commands you can use!

Cybra the Cyber Slack Bot Update! Hey everyone! I’m still actively working on Cybra, the Cyber Slack Bot, and I’ve made some exciting progress. Recently, I focused on developing a system that allows the bot to cycle through and manage a list of messages, making interactions more dynamic and organized. This will help Cybra provide information in a structured way while improving the overall user experience. In addition, I spent time creating and expanding a library of commands that users can access directly through Slack. Since Cybra is specifically designed to promote cybersecurity awareness and education, I have been building commands that provide information on a variety of important cybersecurity topics. Some of these include Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), password security best practices, identity theft prevention, phishing attacks, social engineering, online privacy, and many more cybersecurity concepts that users may encounter in their daily digital lives. As I continue developing the bot, I am also testing each command to ensure it works correctly and delivers accurate, useful information. My goal is to make Cybra both educational and easy to use, helping users learn about cybersecurity in an interactive and accessible way directly within Slack. There’s still more work to be done, but I’m excited to keep improving Cybra and adding new features. Hopefully, the final product will become a helpful resource for anyone looking to strengthen their cybersecurity knowledge and stay safer online!

Hey everyone! Quick update on Cybra the Cyber Chatbot. Right now, I’m focused on getting the Slack integration fully up and running. I’ve been working through a few connection issues between the Slack app and VS Code, troubleshooting the setup step by step to make sure everything communicates properly. Alongside that, I’ve been exploring and testing the chatbot’s available commands to better understand how they function in real-world use. As I experiment with different features, I’m also taking time to dive into the code behind them—learning how each component works, how commands are processed, and how the overall system is structured. This process has been a great opportunity to not only solve technical challenges but also gain a deeper understanding of the development side of the project. I’ll continue refining the integration, testing functionality, and sharing progress as Cybra moves closer to being fully operational within Slack.

I found that the other features weren’t really working out for me. I created a Types of Music feature so that the user can view what they think may be their favorite genre.

I made a simple, basic operating system for music. It tries to give the user a music-centered experience with features to organize music in a simple and convenient matter. I am really new to this type of coding, so I found the project itself pretty challenging. I had to spend a lot of time to set it up and then sometimes the guide just wasn't working when I was putting in the same code to test it in my editor. I am proud that I was able to accomplish at least what I was able to do today. Moving forward, I hope I can grow way more so I can showcase my abilities. For my project, testing it involves using the demo link to easily view the project.

I currently have gotten to making the panel at the bottom with all the sections. I am going to now work on making the actual components inside those different apps/tabs!
