Fifth Devlog:
Yeah so I haven’t done a devlog for this in a while. For any of y’all wondering what happened well I have been working on other projects so I have been kind of busy but here I am with another devlog soo…

Anyway back to what I actually did. I recorded this session a while ago I just haven’t done a devlog yet ,but I was just physically assembling it. I know you guys are probably wondering how assembling can take four hours but but 3 hours and 30 mins of that time was spent trying to figure out why the servo arm wouldn’t fit in the build until a realized that the model I used was for a different type of servo and the servo arm happened to be smaller so ummm.

Moral of the story don’t ever use online models unless you are really down bad. I think I am going to design my own because I don’t want that to happen also why not. Also the image you are seeing is the robotic arm itself(from the online model) and before you guys all go like “Ermm there is actually a servo attached on the top” That one miraculously fits and don’t ask me why or how because I don’t know.

First Devlog:
I spent this time working on the layout of the keyboard and the PCB design. I made the layout on keyboard layout editor and I made the PCB(Printed Circuit Board) on Kicad. The image below shows the layout of the keyboard which is 75% percent keyboard without the num pad and a few other keys. I also hope to incorporate a rgb lights and make the keyboard have a blue gradient.

I made a mini model of the SLS Block 1. It can be used as a model toy or modified with electronics for flight. The rocket can be printed in multiple colors or a single color, though multicolor makes it more accurate.

Third Devlog: I printed the rocket ship with everything and removed the supports. The first print failed with multiple broken parts and missing details, but after a quick redesign session, I fixed it and strengthened everything. The screenshot below shows the finished product.

I have designed a new gripper that will work with servos. The screenshot below shows the whole arm with the gripper and I hope to keep having more iterations.

I made another phone stand, but this one looks much better. Check out the screenshot. This one is much more portable and smaller, and it works with your phone sideways too.

I have been trying to design what this lawn mower would look like. The parts below in the screenshot are a case for the mower, a screw-on pad for the stepper motor (so it doesn’t fall out), and a blade to actually cut grass.

I tried to make another iteration of the Robot Arm. It is not complete yet, but I hope to finish it soon and learn more about 3d modelling. I have designed a completely new gripper mechanism, and I hope it turns out fine. The screenshot below shows the new gripper design.

I have been designing the robot arm and wanted a simulation to see how it would move. The design took a little bit. I was following a tutorial for this iteration, but I plan to have many more versions with a custom design.

First Devlog:I just finished making this phone stand. It looks like a real phone stand. By now, you are probably wondering what that giant hole in the back of the case is. Well, it can function as two things: either as a gripper when you are travelling, or as a place for your AirPods case to rest if you are the type of person who misplaces their belongings.

I wanted to make the PCB more detailed, so I added some features. I added an OLED and a rotary encoder. I was also designing the case to fit with the PCB. The screenshot shows the finished and updated PCB. I have not yet finished the case, but I hope to soon.

Second Devlog: I have been detailing the Rocket and have made it look much more modern. The colors look much more realistic, and I also detailed it. The Rocket ship I was trying to make was the SLS Block 1. You can see how similar it is in color, but not as much in shape or size.

This is the robotic arm breadboard and electronics without the case. I plan to use an online model for the case, and the screenshot below shows the code

First Devlog: The Rocket ship is complete. I gave it various details, such as booster rockets and a realistic body shape. The goal for this design was to be similar to the SLS Block 1. The rocket ship is perfect for a little model rocket. The booster rockets also have a realistic shape./

First Devlog: I have been working on this macro pad for quite a while. The reason it took so long was that I was trying to upload the footprint libraries. I am new to using KiCad, so I didn’t really know how to navigate or upload symbols and footprints. I have finally finished, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
