Devlog 3

Hi everyone!
It’s a lil’ update today.
Just made my HackPad CAD case model so it can be checked off the list:

• PCB layout
• HackPad case modeled
• Code & firmware
  It took about 8 hours of compromising with the CAD software, but the enclosure layout is roughly 90% done. So it’s about time to start cooking up some custom firmware.

I’ve just finished the PCB layout for my HackPad project! Next up, I’ll be diving into the 3D design phase for the case. That’s all for this update—if you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to drop them below!

i made the pcb i have no idea what im doing

I did some work on the PCB but not that much to make a devlog. So here; who wants to rate my Linux setup x/10.

Finishing the day by creating an overall design for the hackPad to give myself an idea of how to build the PCB and case. I ended up with the idea of making a breakout board that I can connect with some wires to the main board and mount one of the rotary encoders on the side.
Also im wondering what you guys use to make quick design, personally use draw.io .

This is a PCB (not yet, but still a PCB); it’s going to be a great Stream Deck one day.
