The Ultimate Return
After a month, that is one hell of a title.
But guess what, I’m back again!!
After a long enough break, I think I’m ready to get in the quiet grind mode 🗿
.
The biggest complaints with Aporia till now was the fact that it’s only for Mac and not windows…. but that shall change soon, ie. I’m working on a Windows build of Aporia, which is somewhat ready, in a way.
So within the next few days, it’ll be available for both operating systems
(if ur not sure why I added the cat emoji, trust me, even I’m not sure 😭)
.
But keeping that aside, I have made some progress today, that is,
- The simulation is wayy more realistic now.
This is because in the shipped version of Aporia, the size of pendulum I used was 80 meters, instead of 80 centimeters,,, which is a little huge, incase you live under a rock 🗿
So after some tries n fixes here and there, I finally got it down to 0.8 meters (aka 80 cm), making the simulation even more realistic than before.
- I’ve adjusted the time step to be approximately the same as the real life time step of our world (1 sec per sec).
Previously it used to be a little faster… making the simulation appear faster than it actually is… even tho time step was still editable, but why not just make the default one sane?
.
And now, even in Aporia, every 60 sec, a minute passes,,,, but together we can change that!!!! (ifukuk 🥀)
.
Anyways with that, let’s end today’s devlog, I have many other extra features planned as I make Aporia better everydayy lol!!
.
And as always
Have a beautiful morning..!! 🍀
P.S. Reduce ur device volume before playing the video attached,, thank me later 💔
