MediaPad - A Simple Macro Pad

It's just a simple Macropad that can controll in/output and media.

Nothing too fancy, but it get's the job done.

I designed my PCB in KiCad, my case in Fusion and wrote python code with KMK.

It's not very demoable, but I did my best and uploaded a fully assembled model you can look at.

Firmware. I made the entire firmware in 20 minutes. I used KMK to assign my keys and used MicMute for my mute function, because KMK doesn’t have the feature.

IM SORRYY I just designed the Case for my MediaPad Today, but Lookout just didn’t work so I just wrote some code for nothing. Here’s the screenshot for my 36minute recording. And the finished case. I hate Lookout

Today, I designed my PCB. I started with the schematic, then a the PCB itself. I ran into some trouble with aligning the switches, because they snapped to the wrong position, but after a minute of tweaking the settings, they aligned perfectly. My switches are going to have these functions: SW1 - Skip SW2 - Pause SW3 - Rewind SW4 - Volume up SW5 - Volume down SW0 - Mute/UnmuteThe switches are in a simple 2x3 layout and the ESP32 is on the back. You might be wondering, why I chose switches for volume and not a dial. Simply put, I just don’t like dials. Additionally, it just wouldn’t have fit in the layout. Next step will be designing a case.
