I made a Spotify player for my desk. It is kind of similar to the Spotify Car Thing, but a lot less advanced. I had many UI challenges, because this was my first lvgl project. I also had challenges of refreshing the authentication, it kept returning an HTML 400 error no matter what I did, but I eventually got it fixed. You do have to own an Arduino GIGA R1 and a Display Shield to go with it to test it, but I included a video of what it can do.

It has gotten a lot simpler to add things, because It’s just small tweaks to the strong base I already have.

I decided the album image was a little bit to complicated for me right now, so I have playback controls, seeking, and the title.

I got a basic lvgl ui working, the buttons work, however there is no seeking or getting what song is playing yet
I made a basic digital clock for the Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi Display!
It has the time from the Network Time Protocol, Light and dark mode, display of a home assistant sensor, and support for 24 hour time!
I was originally going to use the National Weather Service API, however, I ran in to some security issues and instead decided to go with Home Assistant.
To use it, you have to download the repository and open it in the Arduino IDE, then upload it from there.

I added the date and temperature. I sadly could not get the National Weather Service API working, so I switched to the Home Assistant API to get the value of a sensor. I also added light mode support, alongside dark mode.
