A UI for the Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi display, to control Spotify. Kind of like a simplified Spotify Car Thing, Which is discontinued :(

Ship #1 Pending review

I made a Spotify player for my desk. It is kind of similar to the Spotify Car Thing, but a lot less advanced. I had many UI challenges, because this was my first lvgl project. I also had challenges of refreshing the authentication, it kept returning an HTML 400 error no matter what I did, but I eventually got it fixed. You do have to own an Arduino GIGA R1 and a Display Shield to go with it to test it, but I included a video of what it can do.

I added Time Labels, made the progress somewhat smoother, and made it display all of the artists.
It has gotten a lot simpler to add things, because It’s just small tweaks to the strong base I already have.

I was able to add the repeat and shuffle buttons to my ui. They change color when active. Now I want to add the little text to say how much time is left

I got a UI working.
I decided the album image was a little bit to complicated for me right now, so I have playback controls, seeking, and the title.
I want to add the repeat and shuffle buttons

I got a Connecting UI, when connecting to WiFi. I also rotated the screen to landscape. I’m currently exploring switching to lvgl for improved ui
